1oz South African Krugerrand Silver Coin

Brisbane Bullion presents the 1oz Krugerrand Silver Coin by the South African Mint.

First released in 1967, the Krugerrand is considered by many as the original bullion coin.  They are legal tender, but do not record a monetary face value on their obverse or reverse sides.  Each coin contains 1oz of pure silver.

The obverse features the effigy of Paul Kruger, South Africa’s first and only president, along with “South Africa” in Afrikaans and English.

The reverse features the national animal of South Africa, a Springbok antelope and the weight and mintage year.  Note: Supplied as random year.
