A follow up to the popular 1oz Saltwater Crocodile Silver Coin (2014). This coin is 999 fine silver purity, featuring a unique design of the Funnel-Web spider and is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
Issued as Australian legal tender with a face value of AUD $1. The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination. The coin’s reverse features a large funnel-web spider, displaying its sprawled legs and hairy body. The design also includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN FUNNEL-WEB SPIDER, the 2015 year-date, the coin specifications, and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
Please note individual coins are not encapsulated. Multiples of 25 coins are supplied in refinery tubes issued by the Perth Mint.
