Brisbane Bullion is proud to present the 2oz gold proof coin minted in 2015 to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning British monarch.

Queen Elizabeth II is Britain’s 40th monarch since William the Conqueror was crowned in 1066. Her coronation took place on the 2nd June 1953, not long after the death of her father, King George VI. On the 9th September 2015 Queen Elizabeth II achieved a historic milestone, becoming the longest reigning monarch in British history bypassing the previous record set by her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria. 

The coin’s reverse depicts the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II surmounted by St Edward’s Crown. The crown features a handset aquamarine gemstone as is set in the actual St Edward’s Crown. The inscription H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II LONGEST REIGNING MONARCH and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design. 

The obverse of each coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2015 year-date, and the monetary denomination. 

The 2oz gold coin is presented in a wooden Perth Mint display case and beautifully illustrated shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.  With a limited mintage of 350 worldwide this is a spectacular peice to add to your collection in her Jubliee year.
